Picture Postcard

 

 

The above picture was taken around 1907 and was a picture postcard as posted to Yorkshire in July 1907.  The white house has since been demolished but the other three still remain today and can be seen below.

The old white house was replaced with the darker bricked house on the left of this picture and was tied into the lighter brickwork next door.  The window ranges of the other 3 houses and offset gable chimney stack on the taller house match the 1907 picture above.

Opposite are the cottages of Holmes View 1898, Holmes Cottage 1888 and Lily Cottage 1904.
