Marsh Mill - 2009

Photograph taken from the minature railway area

Marsh Mill no longer stands surrounded by fields and greenery and today is situated within Marsh Mill Village.

In the c1900 photograph the houses shown on the right are no longer standing and the area is now 12 restaurant and the row of houses just visible on the left still run along Fleetwood Road with one being a hairdressers.

The house at the other end of the row, furthest from the Mill, used to be Richards Ironmongers.  This was known locally as 'The Keller Shop', keller being the old name for parafin.
